Repairs & Adjustments

Denture

When are Repairs required?

If your dentures are worn, fractured or are not fitting correctly, your Denturist can determine if they need to be repaired or replaced. Rebasing and Relining are two options that can extend the life of your dentures and in most cases can be done same day. Repairs can often restore your dentures to their original condition.

What is a Rebase?

Rebasing may be required if your denture is broken or weak but the teeth are still in good shape. A rebase procedure is similar to relining your dentures but with a rebase all the pink acrylic denture base material is replaced with all the teeth remaining in the same place.  A new acrylic base will provide a stable denture without the added expense and time involved in replacing the denture teeth.

See here for information about Relines.
